Great Beginnings

Stumbled onto your site….great beginnings!
Halton Hills, your home, must be a happening place. Always remember that the youth of today are the caretakers of the seniors of tomorrow. A vibrant and culturally rich environment produces a homogenious society and because of that, is the glue that keeps it together.
Canada is a young country and as such will make mistakes and learn from mistakes of others. We in Europe have plenty of examples of both. I trust that you will look at our cultural history and take what is best and consider applying same to your endeavours.

The initiative is bold and creative. A much needed attention to support a critical economic sector. The web site is excellent. Good luck with planning the symposium.

Welcome

Welcome to the Halton Hills Cultural Journey Blog.
This blog is designed to facilitate an exchange of ideas.
We hope everyone interested in the cultural future of HH will participate in the project to articulate a cultural vision and plan for HH.
We would of course prefer live participation at the Symposium January 17-18, 2009.
You should also complete the questionnaire found under the “Survey” tab to alert us to the issues you think are important.

But let’s get the dialogue started with this Blog.
Let me start with this question: Do you agree with our broad definition of culture as outlined on the home page ?
